WELCOME MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRMAN OF SURGERY DEPARTMENT

Dear Colleagues,

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the First International Vascular Congress to be held on 17 – 19 March 2009 at Gulf Meridien Hotel in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. This major event is organized by King Fahd Military Medical Complex (KFMMC) in cooperation with the Saudi Society for Vascular Surgery and the International Society for Vascular Surgery.

As all of us have witnessed, Vascular Surgery has become one of the developing fields in medicine. In this great event, many updated scientific papers will be presented by well known speakers in the Gulf region and around the world.

I hope that in the course of the vascular congress, we will be able to engage in many constructive dialogues that may shed light on the advances in vascular surgery.

Finally, I would like to thank everyone who has helped to make this congress possible. On behalf of KFMMC, I would like to thank the speakers for willingly shareing their time, knowledge and expertise to benefit our attendees.
